The VA announced for 2023 new guidelines for VA jumbo loan limits. The first type of loan limit is for Veterans that have full entitlement. The second loan limit is for Veterans who are using partial entitlement.
If you have full entitlement available and want to purchase a home, there is now no loan limit under the Federal VA Loan program. You may find that some lenders have implemented their own loan limits for the VA Loan program. As for Guaranteed Rate, we do allow for financing up to 2 Million with no down payment and between 2-3 Million requires a down payment of 10%; please contact the VA Loans Texas Team to see what your down payment requirement would be, if any.
There are some situations where a borrower may have partial entitlement from previous use of a VA loan. In these cases, the loan amount available to the Veteran may be affected. The best thing to do is fill out the short form on this page and we will contact you to get the details and help you determine the maximum loan amount you can receive.
If you are using either full or partial entitlement, we would need to obtain your certificate of eligibility. If you would like to obtain your certificate of eligibility, you can contact us for assistance or you can obtain it directly from the VA by visiting the VA E–Benefits page.
